My earliest park pictures are of Tyren at Strathcona, before they closed the slide as too high etc. Love that park and that playground. The artist who did it, Stephen Braithwaite, also did the funkiest doors into the board room at the Ontario Crafts Council. I LOVED those doors (all the panels were little doors filled with treasures - toys, scultptures, this dad's paintbrushes and little wind up music boxes.!)
